چکیده

The technique of Persistent Scatterers Interferometry allows the accurate measurement of ground displacements and overcomes the drawbacks of classical differential interferometry. Recently, the phase measurement continuity between ERS and ASAR has been demonstrated. In this contribution, we propose an approach for the use of ASAR IMS HH images together with ERS data and the ASAR ERSlike mode. In this framework, we discuss how the availability of ASAR AP mode images can be subsequently used to lift the differential polarimetric phase ambiguity between VV and HH polarization images.

The persistent scattering interferometry (PSI) technique is a valuable tool in displacements' monitoring of earth's surface. The persistent scattering interferometry (PSI) based on persistent scatterrer (PSInSAR) is one of the techniques used to reduce constraints (temporal and spatial incoherency). It is based on persistent scatterer and monitor displacement of only the pixels with timely-cons...

Monitoring of urban subway lines subsidence Using satellite radar interferometry method (Study area: Part of Tehran Metro Line 7)

Nowadays, satellite radar interferometry method plays an important role in calculating natural and artificial displacements, including displacements caused by floods, earthquakes, landslides, drilling of unauthorized wells, drilling of urban tunnels, etc. Metro tunneling is very important due to the importance of preventing irreparable financial and human losses. In Tehran, especially due to th...

A New Method for Selecting Coherent Scatterers Based on Their Polarimetric Signature

Persistent Scatterers (PS) technique is a useful modification of InSAR that limits interferometric processing only to those pixels that behave consistently over a long period of time. Usually these pixels are selected by setting a threshold on amplitude dispersion or mean coherence. This approach requires a large number of images in order to select PS with high confidence which can be a signifi...

Study of subsidence of Abarkooh plain of Yazd using the Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometry method

Abstract The population growth, the development of cities, industry, agriculture, and improper use of resources especially non-renewable resources have led human beings to face the danger of running out of resources. In some cases, in addition to the above, irreversible environmental and geological hazards have occurred due to the overdrawn of resources. Over extraction of groundwater resourc...

Delft University of Technology Structural Health and Stability Assessment of High-Speed Railways via Thermal Dilation Mapping With Time-Series InSAR Analysis

Thermal dilation is a vital component of deformation along the extensive railway network infrastructure. To monitor subtle deformation, Synthetic Aperture Radar Interferometry (InSAR) technique has been adopted as a space-borne geodetic tool. However, InSAR applications in railway stability surveillance have been largely limited by the sparseness of detectable point-like targets (PTs). Moreover...
